The Challenge
Numan is a mission led health-tech providing direct access to medical professionals, pharmaceutical products and knowledge, to help men make informed decisions about their mental and physical wellbeing. In September 2021, Numan raised £40M in Series B Funding, led by the same investors as Babylon Health. By 2025, Numan aims to be the leading European consumer health brand for men.
The Opportunity
Numan were looking for a progressive CTO to support the engineering team and wider business as they expand into new international markets and continue to scale. The candidate would also be responsible for partnering with other functions (growth, product etc) to deliver cross-functional plans, as well as managing partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.
The Candidate
Numan hired Jamie Smith Webb, a skilled tech leader with nearly two decades of dynamic leadership experience across a range of technologies, domains and stages of growth. Jamie significantly scaled the engineering team at Funding Circle, thriving in fast-moving and dynamic environments. Jamie prides himself on his knowledge of both business and technology, and his ability to translate between the two.
